After an hour or so, we finally arrived at our dive site. While waiting for others to put on their gears, the boat was rocking left, right, up, down, I felt so sick in the stomach. Luckily (?) I forced myself to puke the night before, there was nothing left this morning.
First plunge, 10m into the water, we couldn't find the wreck and had to go back up. Putting on and taking off the gears was a bitch!!! Second dive, a few metres away, 29m deep, we saw the Blue Water Wreck. It was a large Philippines fishing trawler, which caught fire and sank in 1981.
This was my first deep dive as part of my Advanced course, so we had to do a little exercise to test if I experience nitrogen narcosis (symptoms such as sleepiness, poor judgement, euphoria, false sense of security etc). I was timed as I wrote A to Z on land, and in water 30m deep to watch out for huge variation. Worried that the excess alcohol in my body might have impact, I manipulated and wrote slower on land. Heh heh.
After a surface interval of an hour and half, we dived at our next site, the Cement Wreck. It was a freighter which sank while transporting cement to Brunei to build the Sultan's palace. Unfortunately, we had to abandon the dive due to poor visibility.

Filled with hopes, we decided to look for a shallower reef for our next dive, and at the same time, practise our underwater navigation. But all hopes gone when it started raining. And it's not funny when you sit on a speeding boat going against the rain with the rain drops slapping your face.
But some smart arse divers fought..
