If you have not noticed already, the weather and climate here have been moving in sharp steps. Huge downpour, sudden outbreak of thunderstorms, typhoon developing...all were not detected by the local radar.
These, together, could pose detrimental effects to the aquatic life underwater. They mess up the flow of water, and transport sediments and other particles onto the bed of the sea. Algae die and fall to the bottom, using up oxygen during decomposition. Eventually oxygen level decreases... threatening aquatic life.

But I'd like to think it does play a part in this! Recently, I noticed that I get frustrated/annoyed at people who print unnecessarily, who don't switch off the lights when they leave the room, and who don't recycle properly!!! Call me a freak... I don't care...all I know is we need to act now, before it's too late.
On a lighter note, HSBC officially launches its 60th Anniversary celebration today.
